Ayurveda
One of the world’s oldest systems of natural wellness—focused on balance between body, mind, and environment through diet, lifestyle, and daily routines.

What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda views health as a state of balance. It uses concepts like the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—to describe different body-mind types. Understanding your constitution can help you make choices that support your natural balance. This is for general awareness only; a qualified practitioner can offer personalised guidance.
The three doshas
Brief traits of each energy pattern—useful for self-awareness, not for self-diagnosis.
Vata
Air & space—creativity, movement, quick thinking. Balanced with warmth, routine, and nourishing foods.
Pitta
Fire & water—digestion, focus, drive. Balanced with cooling foods, rest, and moderation.
Kapha
Earth & water—strength, calm, stability. Balanced with activity, light foods, and variety.
Diet and lifestyle
Ayurveda emphasises eating according to the season and your constitution, staying hydrated, and following a regular daily routine.
Waking and sleeping at consistent times
Eating mindfully and in a calm setting
Including herbs and spices in cooking
Staying hydrated with room-temperature or warm water
These are lifestyle suggestions, not medical prescriptions. For a plan tailored to you, consult a qualified practitioner.
